A flexible fiber optic cable, with a specially designed high-resolution video camera, is inserted into a pipe for inspection. As the cable passes through the pipe, the waterproof camera, equipped with powerful lights, records its findings and collects data for extrapolation. These video images are then transmitted to the camera operator who, after studying the data, is better able to make an informed diagnosis of any problems found.
